We Can Help You Recover Your Losses
The SEC has frozen the remaining assets of
Global Money Management LP, a La Jolla, CA based hedge fund with substantial connections
to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Fund manager Marvin I. Friedman may have raised, and either lost or stolen, more than $100
million of investors’ money. The SEC has alleged that the fund had less than $500,000 in
assets left by late last year.
Freidman, who has been running the hedge fund since 1993, was barred from the securities
industry in 1996 for misappropriating funds from a limited partnership he set up with a
customer. This fact was not disclosed in the offering materials for the Global Money
Management fund.
Some of the money missing from Global Money Management was raised by Zenith Capital, LLC.
a Santa Rosa based investment advisor. Freidman, through a company called LF Global
Advisors, LLC was an investor in Zenith.
